Common Garage Door Problems

There are a wide variety of reasons that you may be having trouble with your garage door not opening or closing properly.Some of the first signs of trouble are scratching or squeaking sounds and slow garage door reaction time (you have to press the opener longer or when it does begin to open or close it is at a far slower pace or seems to almost fall down) or garage door sensors not functioning. It is important to keep an eye on how your garage door is behaving- if you can catch the problem sooner it will not only save you money and time but will increase the odds of not having to go ahead and replace the door completely.
